Sitting Pretty Kitty

Perhaps you remember at the end of last year a package I received from Teresa with finished and almost finished sewn projects for me? Well I've finally stuffed one of the kitty doorstops she sewed up for me! It is so life-like I've had people go to pet her before they realize she's fabric! lolP.S Yes I know Pepsi is on top of the cat. It's one of her favourite places now.

I'm Back!!

I finally have my camera back!!! Yay! It took them almost three months to repair. Speedy huh?
So here's the two new kitty embroideries I finished while it was away.I've been up to a lot more but can't show any of it as they're either not finished or are surprises!

Cyclone Yasi

I'm scared. I can't imagine how those who are in Yasi's direct destruction path are feeling at this moment.There's a really eerie feeling outside, it's so still. No birds, no cicadas, nothing.
This is the biggest cyclone in Australia's history. Bigger than Tracey. Bigger than Hamish. Bigger than Glenda. Bigger than Larry!
I have toured up to Cooktown and out to Mount Isa. I know these places. I love these places. To think of the damage this cyclone will cause...
I'm scared.
