I'm really enjoying using my
oil pastels. Does anyone know what's the best paper to use them on? Like, the same as water colour paintings or oil paintings? I have another owl in the making, and hopefully I'll finish that soon. Yeah, I know. I'm an owlaholic.

i think you can use any type of paper, it just depends on the effect you want and if you are going to use any kind of solvent on the pastels. they do make paper for oil pastels but i've never used it. just used heavier paper, or loose canvas. hopefully someone has a better answer :)
