pencil love

I love pencils. I don't use them as much as I used to, and most of them have gone astray, but I have managed to keep my absolute favourite pencils together.Most of these I've owned for more than 12 years!Some of them are tiny as they've been sharpened so much.I must do a post soon with some pictures from my art journal. I've been using pens and not threads to do a lot of my creative stuff recently.

Snake - no pics, don't worry!

So I know a lot of people are freaked out by snakes. I'm not going to post the pictures here. But yesterday I got a call from some friends to come have a look at a snake they'd caught, and he turned out to be a little Brown Tree Snake! Such a cutie pie! I've blogged about him, with pictures, on my wildlife blog here. So if you're interested, it's worth a look!
But I hate doing a post without a picture, so here's a cute cartoon snake that shouldn't bother anyone.
