button brooch

This is my first FINISHED button flower brooch.

I started them late last year, but totally forgot about them and they remained sitting untouched. So yesterday I took this one -my favourite- and finished it off by adding the felt and brooch backing. The middle button was a broken one I got in a jar from the op-shop. I really love it but never would have been able to use it as a button, so it's perfect for this project!

They're easy enough to make by simply looking at the picture, but if you need help or have a question, just ask. If enough people ask for and need it, I'll make a tutorial!

Have a Happy Easter Monday!

Very creative! What glue did you use? I would love to make one for my everyday bag!

What a pretty brooch! I love the colours of the buttons you used, and the centre one is the perfect finish to it!
I love the idea of the cookie cutter swap, and I would most probably join in on it, but I am just a little too busy to take on hosting it at the moment! Great idea though! :)

This brooch is so pretty - what a good way to use lovely buttons.

I love the brooch! It is gorgeous. I love that it is Pink! I really like that the whole thing is buttons not just like the center. You hardly see things made totally out of buttons. It is one of the things I like about your blog!
Have A Great Day!

I've been hoping to make a button brooch. I wondered if you used a glue gun or just some other sort of glue to fasten everything together?
Thanks, Kathy

Just a normal glue gun and hot glue sticks :)

Did you ever make a tutorial for this button broach?

I tried to make something similar but had trouble gluing the elements. As i glued the next button the previous would move. Any suggestions
