Welcome to the Zoo Part 2! Today we will be meeting... Meerkats Mbali, Makena and Sekai -Red Pandas Tenzen and Eilish, unsure of which this one is though -The Dingo Jumbany, who I got to pet later as they were walked around on leashes -Koalas Winston and Eucky, again unsure of who this is (I like to think it's Eucky cause that's an awesome name!) -Tawny Frog-mouths -Swamp Wallabies -Little Penguins -De Brazza's Monkey Sam or Camulla -Ring tail Lemur Indray -Black-and-White Colobus monkeys Chadwick and Charlie having a grooming session -The Common Eland Nyama -The Zebras Zambezi, Kike, Zahra and the foals Zaafir & Kamalu -Giraffes Humbekhali (Hummer) and Ketanga -Third installment coming soon!
Visiting the National Zoo and Aquarium was just awesome! It was the only real day of blue sky we had while in Canberra, and as you all know, I love animals, so I had an absolute blast! Here's my favourite pictures from the Zoo. I love insect collections! I even have a few of my own...So much cooler than white laundry hanging about!So me it isn't funny...Can I live here?With this kitchen?Awesome journal page idea!I loved these things when I was young! Still do, they're just so magical to watch.Need this pancake maker...A melanistic serval. I saw a normal serval while on holidays (pictures to come soon) but never knew you could get them in black!I'll leave you with this inspiring thought. Note to self - remember to thank Him more...
