Two Sea Treasures today, I'm not exactly sure what they are. I think they're dried jellyfish, but one of them might be a
mermaid's purse of some kind.
Next time I go to the beach, I must take them back with me to the shell museum, maybe someone there can tell me
exactly what they are. Nevertheless, they're treasures to me, from the sea!!

I'm always intrigued as to what treasures you will show! These are beauties!
Another beauty Manda...
They are so pretty , are they fragile ? Thanks so much for showing us and playing along .
they are great! love the name Mermaid's purse.
Lucky you for winning that lovely fabric! Can't wait to see the rest of the stitching and what that fabric becomes.
You have the most amazing treasures and I look forward to seeing what you will share each week.
I always look forward to your treasures from the deep (and shallows). They are all so unusual.
I think I saw one like this when we went to Florida this summer. I didn't know what it was so I asked my SIL and she told me the name, but I forgot. She said that it gets washed up to the beach and can't go back to the sea so they die. Sure are very interesting creatures.
i found 2 just like yours on the beach in western australia and was searching the web ti find out what they are when i found yours! they are pretty neat
Hello. Weirdly, these showed up when I was searching for dried jellyfish. Long story. Anyway, if you're still monitoring this blog seven years on, at least one of these is a fish's swim bladder. Maybe both are; I'm not sure.
Have a good day!
