The National Zoo is home to 3 brown bears, Big Fella, Blondie and Darkle. But I only managed to photograph one when the "Zooventure Tour" which was actually a family tour, came to feed them -
This is Bakkar the Bengal Tiger. He carries the white tiger gene and is one of Australia's largest Bengals -
And here's my favourite little shrimp from the Aquarium part of the zoo -
Sadly I never got to see the Sumatran tiger Berani or the Snow Leopards Shiva and Bhutan. All were sleeping, or camouflaged, somewhere out of sight.Well, you have to keep some surprises for my next visit, right?! And I am so doing that Zooventure Tour next time...
